Step 0: Information.
This is the format to use for submitting a request to have your own Golf CLi calculation for a selected tournament. This form takes you through the following steps:
Step 1: Configure the Settings for your Golf CLi Calculation.
In this step, you will select the weight and settings for each variable that is used for calculating the Golf CLi (i.e. past rankings, past earnings, etc.). As well, you will be able to select which tournament you want to calculate the Golf CLi for. The list of tournaments you can select from are the tournaments being played in the current week. The reason why only the current week's tournaments are available at any given time is because the Golf CLi is based upon the players in the field of a tournament. The field of a tournament is not entered into the system until the week of the tournament.
Step 2: Confirm your Settings for your Golf CLi Calculation.
In this step, you will review your Golf CLi settings to ensure they are set to what you want them to be.
Step 3: Pay for your Golf CLi Calculation (US $1.50).
We use both PayPal and Google Checkout for payment gateways. You can use one or the other to pay via credit card, your PayPal account, or your Google Checkout account.
Once you have gone through all three of these steps, the request will be submitted to us. We will then run the calculation based upon your settings and send the results to you via email within four (4) hours of submittal. In the email you receive, you will be able to see the Golf CLi calculation for EVERY player in the field of the tournament you selected (note: the field is based upon the field at the time you submitted the Golf CLi calculation request). The data will be provided to you in a CSV formatted file. A CSV formatted file is a comma delimited file that can be viewed in various application, namely Microsoft Excel. If you use Microsoft Excel to view the file, you will be able to sort the data according to your needs
To see an example of the format of the CSV file you will receive, click on the image below. You will see the raw data in the csv file. If you want to download the csv file, right click on the image and select to download the linked csv file.
As you will see in the graphic above, the raw data which the Golf CLi calculation used is included. This includes the scoring and earning aveages for the previous instances of the tournament, the days looking back prior to the start of the tournament, and the tournaments looking back prior to the start of the tournament.
You can run as many Golf CLi calculations for a tournament that you like. There is no limit. The price is the same however for each submittal (US $1.50).
